Yoga Nidra Class
The Practice of Yoga Sleep
Yoga Nidra, or "yoga sleep," is a deeply restorative practice that guides you into
the hypnagogic state – the space between wakefulness and sleep.
During the session, you’ll rest comfortably in shavasana (corpse pose) on your yoga mat, turning your focus inward to achieve profound relaxation.
A Yoga Nidra class includes:
Guided relaxation & body scan - to relax & release tension.
Setting a resolve or intention - to align with your heart’s desire.
Breath awareness - to quiet the mind.
Exploring the emotional landscape - allowing any emotions, sensations, or memories to surface without judgment or attachment.
Visualisation techniques - may include nature scenes, symbols, or personal experiences that evoke a sense of peace, healing, or self-discovery.
This systematic method is suitable for everyone, offering complete mental, emotional, and physical relaxation. It’s a powerful way to restore balance, reduce stress, and reconnect with your inner self.
